Finished my yard work early this morning so I could go find some new-to-me roads.  Took some old favorites to point me in the general direction of new.  Pumpkintown Rd (288) is a great fast road.  I enjoyed 183 all the way from Pickens to Walhalla.   Will have to take this one again and keep going on 28, looks good on the map.

Route Map:

133 north of Clemson.  The roads were very empty yet it was easy to see how much this one would suck on a busy day.

Lake Keowee was low, but not nearly as bad as expected.  This shot while enjoying 133

sweeper on 133

Highway 11, the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway is always a nice ride.  I have yet to do it end to end, maybe during a "lunch" break soon

Table Rock Mountain as seen from Highway 11.  Somehow more impressive the the tall peaks in Oregon, perhaps I was jaded.

Got in 133 miles today, would have liked more but I will take what I can get!

I've rode by Lake Keowee several times but can't remember the roads . I know one of them has a steep down-hill and a almost 90 right at the lake .I'm gettin' better with age as far as paying attention to road signs. My favorite ride's always have a " Let's see where this goes "  in them .
