I was never a big Jay Leno fan back in the days of his Tonight Show days. Much preferred David Letterman. But in the ensuing years since then I’ve really come to appreciate him. He truly is a good dude, and down to earth. I’m really glad he is doing well.

Humor, much like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. I didn’t think Leno was unfunny. Just that his humor was more mainstream, and less cutting edge. Regardless, I have found in the subsequent years him to seem a really good dude.

Definitely could have been a lot worse. I imagine those skin graft areas are pretty painful though.

The skin graft on my shin from 7th grade is still tender to the touch and can predict the weather..... Can't imagine having 'em on the face...

Dude just can't catch a break lately..... "Jay Leno breaks multiple bones in motorcycle accident after car fire" "The “Jay Leno’s Garage” host, who will return to Sin City in March to perform for the first time since the car fire, explained that he had been testing a 1940 Indian motorcycle and noticed the scent of leaking gas — an uncanny similarity to the explosion in his garage just months prior — and wanted to pull over. “So I turned down a side street and cut through a parking lot, and unbeknownst to me, some guy had a wire strung across the parking lot but with no flag hanging from it,” he explained. “So, you know, I didn’t see it until it was too late. It just clotheslined me and, boom, knocked me off the bike." https://pagesix.com/2023/01/27/jay-leno-breaks-bones-in-motorcycle-accident-after-car-fire/

But then so are most of the current late-night hosts. I quit watching them and so did a lot of the public. Their viewing audience is significantly down. Carson was the best in my opinion, but opinions are like................... Well, you know... Rams

Life in the fa$t lane, with lots of vintage cars and bikes. Ouchies can occur. Hope he recovers well.

I hope Jay is OK. He is one of the good guys.
Part of the news, along with the crash.
CNBC is canceling the comedian's show, Jay Leno's Garage, after seven seasons of being in the network's primetime spot — thus ending Leno's three-decades-long relationship with NBC, following a 22-year stint hosting the Tonight Show.
"I've got a broken collarbone. I've got two broken ribs. I've got two cracked kneecaps," he said. "But I'm OK!" Ouch!

Quite a few years back, I rode up to the infamous Rock Store in So Cal. Jay and Matt Leblanc (Joey from Friends) were there. Jay was friendly, talked to folks, let them take selfies, etc. Matt not so much... actually, Matt was a jackass.

I had co-worker that had a son in the make a wish program and his wish was to visit Jay Leno's garage. They made it happen and she and her son got to have a personally guided tour.

Guided by Jay, I assume. That's great. Jay should have offered him a ride in/on the vehicle of his choice.
