We had an ice storm last week.  Now, blizzard.
Whiteout, no travel, roads closed.  Some have been out of power since Wednesday, we have been out since Friday AM.  I have a PTO generator, takes about 45 gallons of diesel a day to run my tractor.  Have electric heat, so need it.  May well be a few more days.

5 above, 40-45 mph winds, with snow!

No mention of it in news, that I have heard.  Nobody thinks anyone lives up here anyway.  Let that happen in the SE, and it is all over the news.

Lol, Melvin.  I need to put you in touch with Oss.  He doesn't think anyone lives in North Dakota.

... If someone told me before I purchased my first Valkyrie that I would have at this point met interesting folks from 49 states (I dont think I have talked to anyone from North Dakota yet) ...

I hope things get better for you soon.  I can't imagine dealing with the cold the way you have to.  I assume you still have to get out in it to take care of things on the farm?

Incidentally, I spoke with TC the other day.  He remembered you and said you were a really nice guy.  He thought you were from South Dakota.  I think you're right.  It seems nobody knows that people live up there in ND.   2funny

Fudgie:

Texting does not work.  My bank will not accept it.  However, if you could please fax me some, that would be great!  LOL

Willow,
yeah, I have already contacted oss.  Gave him he**!  He is a good friend.

It is amazing though.  We see and hear about all kinds of things.  But when they happen here, nothing.  It takes something BIG, like the whole red river valley getting flooded to make the news.

Oh well.  Sometimes it is better to not be noticed!  Not riding a Valk though!  Man, amI ready to ride!

Aint that somethin  a new yorker and a north dakotan go to West virginia to ride motorcycles

What a country

Just keep that damn snow away from us  we had 4 inches of rain today that would be twelve hundred feet of snow here?

Hey, it's expected to get cold up there. Just like it's expected to be 60+ degress and sunny this time of year down here but you don't hear about that. Just when it's in the 20's, sheesh, that's cold.  Cry  And just like if it got 60 up there this week, I bet we'd hear about it for sure.  tickedoff

Just messin with ya. I honestly don't see how you endure it. burrrrrrr. Hope you stay warm.
