I haven't looked at it closely. Apparently there is an intake or fuel delivery issue due to a crack which then leaks fuel with the possibility of a fire.

Doesn’t sound too encouraging;

“The current fix for the issue as reported by Ford is a drain tube from the cylinder head, directing fuel away from hot surfaces in the engine and preventing pooling. Ford also intends to issue a software update that alerts the driver if fuel pressure is reduced, and puts the car into limp mode.”

“Owners are not instructed to stop driving their cars under the recall, and Ford projects a low failure rate for the injectors. Until a fix is released, owners are urged to stay alert for a fuel smell around the engine bay and should go to a dealer immediately.”

What struck med was the Bronco has a mighty 1.5 liter engine.  Shocked

1.5 liter in a Bronco. And that's it. 1.5  Cheesy

Same as a Valkyrie.

I just got a (several years old) Dodge recall done on my 2500 Promaster.

It seems there is some remote possibility of a fire from a fan motor.  I asked the service mgr if I should get it or not, and he said yes.

They are also recalling for brake issues on some models.

Here’s a couple at local dealer but with 2.7L engines.

almost all vehicles now are going turbo or twin turbo small displacement engines.  It sucks for sure since long term reliability will be rare.

Even my 2021 new tundra got a recall for replacing the power steering system (could leak power steering fluid) which did not want to do.  Dealer spent 6 hours doing it, me being reluctant for them to do.  They supposedly fixed that issue but caused 2 other problems in the process.   Taking off the front wheel,  they cracked my black plastic hub cap cover (which they have on order) as well as having to do a front end alignment messing up the alignment now having to go back in yet again to get both fixed.  My steering wheel use to be straight and go straight down the road, but now is 15 degrees off since if hold the wheel straight on a straight road,  the truck wanders about 15 degrees to the right very obviously is wrong.

Fing pisses me off go in for 1 recall, dealer causes 2 other minor issues.

That’s the Bronco Sport(based on the Escape). Not the full sized Bronco.

And they have double the torque of the Valkyrie. It’s amazing how much power they can pull out of engines these days.
