The story from the link below.

Orange County, VA   A very confused cow had to be rescued from a physicians’ office in Orange, Virginia, after leaping from a trailer and busting into the building.

The cow was being transported to Knight Cattle Company, in Gordonsville, when it jumped off the trailer. The animal then made its way to Orange Family Physicians, about an eighth of a mile down the road.

Locals self-proclaimed “cow catchers” Timmy Lamb and Sam Crawford said they received a call about the bold bovine outside the office only minutes after returning home from work. They immediately headed over on horseback to help retrieve the big animal.

When Lamb and Crawford arrived, the cow became frightened and ran around the building, smashing through the glass doors of the office.

“When it shattered the glass, it just kept on running through the building,” Lamb said.

Two things that caught my attention in this story.  First the Cow jumped from a trailer.  I found that "interesting".  I guess the trailer was not enclosed.

Second, there just happened to be two "self proclaimed" cow catchers nearby.

The men were ultimately able rein in the cow without harm, with Lamb roping its neck and bringing it outside where he tied it to a light post.

Just one more interesting "thing" in the news.

Oh I was also "interested" to see that the "self proclaimed" cow catchers made their way to the doctors office on horseback.

Having been reared in cattle country, none of the above surprises me.

Here in WI my neighbors kid when younger still living at home hit 2 separate cows in the middle of the road 2 different times.  How you explain that to the insurance company?

I once at work had a crazy deer seen running across the road directly at me fully running and hit the all glass door right in front of me dying shortly after.  Just glad the door was closed or we woulda had a fun time escorting him outta the building.  I saw hiw quiver and shake briefly before passing hitting his head on the glass door luckily not breaking it either.  I was nice enough to clean up the bloody glass and drag him off behind the building and call the cops.
