Help???????????????   Shocked
Due to SS limiting the amount of income I'm allowed before they cut my SS, I'm forced to barter services or goods.   I'm much better at Supervising than actually working and although I can be made available, kind of depends on what is being counter offered in the barter.

Whatcha got.  Wink

after looking at my 4ft high drift in my backyard near house and also along my right side of my driveway about 30 feet long each section,  class has now been moved here to WI.

amazes me how say 4 inches of light fluffy snow with 30+ mph winds sustained for 2-3 days can pile up and up and up to 4 ft high and LIKE CONCRETE, enough so that 290lb. person can stand on 4ft of concrete snowdrift and not fall thru.

Cookie, having spent 22 plus years in Southern WY, I do understand about drifting snows.  We would get a 4-6 inch snow and would shovel it for the next 3 days.  Yeah, each time the snow would pack in harder.  Lots of fun. That is one of the several reasons why we left WY.

yah, snow is not the issue, is the high winds that is causing havoc for several days straight it was.  Now, later this week into lower 40's for temps HEAT wave and RAIN,  going to am sure get FREEZING rain next.

I just shoveled a 2 ft wide path in that long 4ft high drift in backyard so I could get to my backyard is all, that was enough shoveling for me.  Cleaning the 4ft tall drift on one side of driveway was a long 1 hour chore, no heart attack yet.

For those interested, the class was conducted, attendance exceeded my expectations, ended up clearing the entire neighborhood's driveways.  Secret methods of clearing drives was presented and put to good use.   There were a few broken shovels, some sore backs and pulled muscles, no heart attacks though.

Next up will be mowing and leaf removal classes.   Realizing that not everything in life is free, this is offered at no cost, get in on the action while offered, bring mower, gas and rakes.

Can't wait until the Spring Fling on April Fool's weekend, I'm already practicing for the annual Liar's Contest.  Wink

Rams, I wasn't able to remove our leaves before the snows hit.  Not sure why but several trees didn't turn loose of their leaves timely.  Now facing trying to remove those dang leaves when the snow leaves and they dry out.  It would make a good area for a leaf removal class.  RIGHT.   2funny

Oleman,
There is a technique for removal in such situations.   Unfortunately, I no longer maintain or possess that equipment.    Feel free to visit your local National Guard though and see if they'll loan you what you need.

Be prepared is all I'm gonna say.  Wink
