thanks for the heads up.  I texted my kid who needs a new cycle jacket after beefing up from high school from 170lbs to now 210lbs. and his medium/large size stuff no longer fits him in his current cycle jacket.

Anyone know if ARC jackets run small or large?  He is 210lbs. and near 36 inch waist so in between according to the linked sizing chart a XL to 2XL.  He will measure his chest and see where that falls in as well.  One would think XL be big enough, but with armoured jackets I find once the pads are in,  is better to go TOO BIG vs. TOO small.  Plus, as he ages now 22 I doubt he will shrink in size under 200lbs. ever again.

I like the ARC touring jacket for 95 bucks but I think he will prefer the mesh style younger looking jackets for 70 bucks, both good deals.

The "Arc" brand is a new to me discount brand I'm assuming. Call me a snob but Icon, J Rocket, Scorpion, Tour Master, etc., are better proven products. Icon used make some mighty fine leather jackets.

The following are two suppliers that I've purchased from. Also check dealers for closeouts.

I especially like Motorcyclegear.com (TX) as they publish their own reviews of gear, size, fit, function (with pics).  And if it doesn't fit they help defray shipping cost to get you a proper fit.  Always check their closeouts for deals.
