During the freeze I managed to wax my Valkyrie and get her looking good couple days ago.   Freeze is coming to an end finally.   Went out in my garage this afternoon and cranked my Valkyrie and let her run for a few minutes.   While she was running I got side tracked putting some tools back on the shelves....turned around and she was at the roll up door prancing around with her little tail light just a wagging......ha....she thought we were going riding.

glad she is clean  Digger

Took the "new and dead" battery out of the Valk and it is warming up in my house now

I thought we had figured out battery drain but guess I was wrong

Only got down to 11 degrees the night we returned to NY

At least we are not in Buffalo, worst snow since I was there in 77

My interstate was a wagging her taillights too this morning. Opened the garage door to get the snow blower out. At -8 am pretty sure the wagging was shivering

Got her looking good.  Only thing is right after I wax my Valkyrie I hate taking it out in iffy weather conditions.   Takes about 3 hrs to do a good job waxing.

This is not getting me any closer to where the line starts.   I want to be first in line............  Wink
Since I rarely wash and wax, it may take a bit longer.   Grin
But, I promise to take notes and watch how you do it very closely.

Well it's been almost a week since the freeze started.  There is an open area on the north side of our property. It's in front of the observatory and that's why it was opened up (no trees in a small area).

There are low areas in this part of the property where water can collect (been to lazy to sort of change the lay of the land).  As I was walking  Zoe this morning, I was surprised to see that several areas, pretty much in the open, were still frozen over.

And even the creek has a portion, that is in the shade most of the time, where there is still ice with the water running under the ice.

Brendan Denuyl, 29, filmed himself with the iguanas in his arms in Pembroke Pines, South Florida, as they seized up during the killer cold snap.

Good. Its nice to just set them somewhere where they can catch the morning sun.
