A Friend sent me the link below which is a virtual wall of
all those lost during the Viet Nam war with the names, bio's and other
information on our lost comrades. It is a very interesting link, and those
who served in that time frame and lost friends or family can look them up on
this site.

First click on a state......then when it opens .........a
name.......then it should show you a picture of the person or at least his
bio and medals......
You can also look by city and state
to find friends and love ones.

That really puts it into perspective. Being from College Park, GA. I looked it up. Started at the top and went down the entire list. Looks as though most every town in GA gove up one of it's own. May they rest in peace.

Thank you so much for this website. I had a cousin killed over there in 1968. This was the first time I've been able to see his name on the wall. He was killed one day after his 19th birthday. He had only been over there for three months at the time of his death. He was in the Marines, so was his older brother who was sent stateside very quickly after his only brother had been killed.

I lost an uncle, Leo G Hester and then his son Leo G Hester Jr. both in Vietnam.  I think there were only a handful of father, son's both lost in the war.  Butch as we called the son, was going over there to avenge his dad's death, became a helicopter pilot, they got him too.
