You will never get to meet him in person as he passed away of natural causes at 56. Critically injured in a wreck caused by a drunk driver, he may well be the epitome of the mantra of “never give up”. Hailing from Australia, he must have been an inspiration to all those around him.








He raced with the number 1/2 on his bike and earned the nickname of half man.

Since these post sparked a memory, has any one here heard from Bandit?  I haven't seen him at an event or seen a post from him in years.  He was always an inspiration to me.

I was wondering the same thing....

Also, his name eludes me, but there's a Valkyrie rider that was at the Billings Inzane that is missing most of his left leg as I recall, but managed to ride a Valk anyway...

One of my sons is missing much of his left foot. He still rides and rides my Valk occasionally. Kempster (above) has a book out: "Left Side Story".
