Plan on moving to SD or WY in 2 yrs time, or sooner. Where are some good online job ads sites and those that take resume's?

Fudgie you might want to look at the following sites:

http://www.monster.com
http://www.careerbuilder.com
http://www.mancrunch.com

Actually I have only used the first two sites.  The last one is a goof....I just had to post it since Foxnews is reporting that we might see it advertised on Superbowl Sunday!  It's better to get the shock over with while one is sober!!!

Thx. I'd rather not advertise on the last one.  2funny

Fuzzie, there are plenty EMS jobs anywhere, assuming your EMS credentials can be transferred,  or are you nationally certified?  EMIC, of course, pays better than EMT.  I did it for 34 years, fire and ems, and earned a good living and a decent pension.  Loved the work, too.  I'm living in Kansas, but spent a lot of time in Sioux Falls, ordering and buying fire apparatus when I got that responsibility dumped on me.  That is a great town.  Good luck  Hoser

I was NR but let it lasp in 99. The sucky thing is that I am Certified as a advanced EMT, (EMT-A) and Ind is the only State that recognizes it.  Angry I'm above a basic but below a Intermediate.  ??? I can do IV's, manual defib, etc. When I go down to get Nat Reg I will have to be a EMT-B, since EMT-A is non NR. I have a good construction back ground and some FF. Thats why I'm hoping to get most things paid for, truck, CC, Etc before I take the plunge and move. Unless I get fired 1st! Most of the areas I looked at are all Vol EMS or paid FF. I'm get to old  Shocked and outta shape to try for that. I did see AMR runs outta Sioux Falls, and thought about it.

That would be a plus........ in my book.......

7 States have no personal state income tax:

Alaska
Florida
Nevada
New Hampshire
South Dakota
Tennessee
Texas
Washington
Wyoming

Some of those have income taxes on dividends, capital gains etc, and varying taxes on business/corporate, but no state income tax on direct personal earnings...

...and why anyone would live in anything BUT one of those 7 is beyond me! Wink
