28* when I left home for my Dr. appointment...
6* with a nasty wind out of the north when I returned an hour later...
Wind chills could be well into in the negative 40s overnight and into tomorrow.
It's a 48 hour chill rolling in....
Beer, Titos, and New England's Best BloodyMary mix .....check
Venison, scallops, bacon, generator, fuel......check
See ya Sunday......

It's 15 degrees here about 30 miles west of Boston and the wind is howling. We're forecast for about -10 tonight.  Going to be cold again here tomorrow and then get to the mid 40s on Sunday. Thankfully this cold snap will be short.

My WX app shows 3 degrees right now in your area with -22 forecast as your low temp (not wind chill) tonight. Shocked  I'm sure you've got plenty of wood pellets for the stove to keep safe and warm tonight. No heavy snow forecast, just wind, so hopefully no power outages. That would really suck!

Hang in there Buddy.  Wink

Could be worse, you could live on Mt Washington, -110 with wind chill.

We're all set Tony, and not worrying about a thing..
I can remember winters in Presque Isle when spit would freeze before hitting the ground.
Reported raw temps in the negative 40s...and the wind always blows across the potato fields.
I never did try the pee and lean on it trick.. crazy2

Could be trapped moisture turning to ice and separating wood stucture.

Like between the deck ledger and the house framing.

Minus 15 here near the ma/Ct line
