Smiley didn't know that, i dont have a garage built yet at my new place, i have my stuff stored for the winter :'( first time in my life with NO GARAGE!. i just moved my car and bike to a friends place today to work on my bike and store my car in a  heated warehouse, getting ready to do custom paint. oh i had the pleasure of riding in the snow today for a mile to new place, to lazy to hook up the trailer, got some strange looks from people, was not snowing the moment i left.LOL?

Not knowing cars from that era as much, isn't that a Woody on the right, and an old T in the back right?

Without trying to change the subject:

Aren't the old 1500 Goldwings fuel injected?

I'm more sure the Rune is fuel injected and might could be adapted to a 1500 motor.

1500 had a single 2 barrel carb.... Its why my 85 Wing (4 carbs) could whip em up to 90! Why our Valks have 6 carbs......  but a Fuelie Valk would probly add another 20-30 horse... MMMMMM..... 6 throttle bodies?????

Why?
A fuel injected bike would not make any more power than a properly tuned carburetor.
Efficiency, should improve, but why would the power be higher?

My bad...should have written better...meant the HP gain as a joke!

Fuel injection would/could be more efficient, but with the right map, could allow more fuel to be added to increase HP..... would not be more efficient, just allow more fuel to get to the cylinder at the right time. overall most fuel injection systems allow more HP by getting more fuel to the cylindes and atomizing the fuel better for better combustion. This could be an all day discussion, but most fuel injection systems do give a HP gain. Snowmobiles are a good example, but 2 stroke issue also. Fuel injection just allows better fuel management and adjustability on a regular basis..... most performance bike and add ons to increase HP include Fuel injection....usually the first thing alot of Harley guys do.

So I should stop now before I say something else over my head...lol

So shoot me later.....

No fuel injected 1520 6 cylinder Honda bikes that I have ID'd. For all of the stated reasons and a few more, if I could find a factory injected 1500 I would graft on the injuction system to my IS!
