Hola

So finally had a chance to run the bike after the shifter install

Hmmmmm. Would not down shift
Very reluctant to up shift either

One of the guys here commented about needing some slop,  I figure i had enough,,

I took the red eye shifter steady off

Upshifting was easy now and back down
Natural, 2nd, natural

But that was it

Took the heal toe off and

We back to normal

Advice required

Of course Cheesy

Looking at the last picture of your setup in the other thread, I would say you need the H/T shifter bolt in the rear hole of the OEM foot peg bracket.
Your H/T shifter is too far to the rear so the hoop that goes over the shifter doesn't have any slop for shifting.
When the OEM Shifter goes up or down, it also moves forward slightly, so the slop in the hoop is needed.
You could also try drilling a hole 1/2" to 3/4" forward on the same bracket you have now to give it some play.
Hope this makes some sense.

Update,

So i used the rear stock riders foot peg mount for the pivot
I’ve packed the pivot point out 20 mm ( just over 3/4 inch )

I will make a packer for that

The shift lever has had a M8 bolt. Fitted to bar on it from PO

I spaced out the new lever toe bar with M8 nuts,  that gives me enough space and slop for the shifter to be happy

So i need to turn a 3/4 round 3/4 long spacer for the shifter arm pivot and a 1/2 round /3/4 long spacer for the toe bar and i am done

I’m not gonna mess with linkages as happy with the shift action now

Case closed
