I snagged this photo off Facebook just to have in my library. Loved the movie and admired the man’s accomplishments. I going to watch the movie again soon, it’s been a while.  |

Our local Bonneville racer Bud Schmitt. He's still alive well though I haven't seen him for year but I haven't been to our local American Legion for fish fry where we usually meet up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE55FQr5s0U |

The 20th century really turned out a tremendous number of great people who just seemed to not see any limitations to what they could do. You are blessed to have had access to such a person. |

Thank you. He's also still flying an ultralight. He had his own airstrip/hangar just outside of town and drove our kids to school everyday in the 90's. He gets out and rides a older CM400 Honda just to catch the wind on occasions.

Sounds like Bud needs his own movie, I’d watch it. I did get on YouTube the other afternoon and watch Worlds Fastest Indian and I still found it enjoyable and not a waste of time.
