Was it me, or did it look like all those athletes were playing on ice rather than a field? I can't remember so many players slipping and losing their footing in such a major event. The NFL should be ashamed of themselves. I'm surprised there wasn't any serious injuries. I did not think Mahomes was going to be able to play the second half after the way he hobbled off the field at the end of the first half. Congrats KC and Mahomes for outplaying a talented and scary good football team!

Agree about the slipping. It shouldn't have happened, especially in the Superbowl. The announcers said that the slipping on this field had been an issue during the normal football season. But this was new grass for the Superbowl. Maybe too much paint on the grass, too? Interesting story at the link.

Despite the slipping, the game was exciting to watch. It's fun when it comes down to the last few seconds.

Wished the field had been in better condition...
Glad it was a close game and came down to the wire...
Late penalty was debatable...
The halftime show with SlipKnot and the Space Invaders offered plenty of time to
go to the bathroom, refill beverage glass, and go for a walk around the block !!

Game was good. Wasn't interested in the half-time show,  just not my thing.
I thought the National Anthem was the best I've heard in a long time. Disclaimer, I'm a huge Chris Stapleton fan. I think his voice and music are authentic.

I agree about Chris Stapleton. Great performance!

I like Rihanna's music, so I enjoyed the half-time show. Although she was obviously tethered to the platform in the air, she was up very high and at one point the platform started to sway. I think it takes a lot of guts to put on a performance on the world's biggest stage under those conditions. And to do it pregnant no less.

Couldn't understand the lyrics...She's not in my Rolodex of 10,000 songs...
Grabbing her crotch and ass didn't do much for me....
