CRAP!  I have a c/t in back and don't want to revert back, so now what do I do...also want to keep the shocks. It's rubbing slightly on the head of the right rear fender bolt, I removed the nut cage a few years back and reversed the bolt after grinding the head down. Sorta my version of the "bag quick drop kit." I have the shocks set rather stiff, judging by the jolts I get from the road so plan to back off the setting a bit. I took off down the street and a couple blocks later while sitting at a light I smelled rubber....knew it was me since there was no other vehicles at the light. Headed home and looked up underneath the fender...sure enough, that bolt head touches but only slightly when weight is applied to drop fender down like when someone is sitting on it.

So, now what? I want(need) to keep the shocks for future plans and really want to keep the c/t. I run 35-37lbs. in the tire, depending on load, not really sure about running it any higher.

If you look under the fender you will see like a cone where the bolt runs threw. It is the middle bolt that holds the chrome piece that also attaches to the bolt that holds the shock on. You can take a grinder and grind some of this cone off. Can also do the washer mod with this. A lot of times this is were the tire rubs. I took about 1/4 inch off mine. This should solve your problem.

I have 11.5 also, W/ Ct had the same problem, you can take your rear fender off and get to the area that needs grinding with out removing your tire.
