I'm having an Interstate tank I want painted for my 97 Yellow and Black and was curious if there was some information regarding factory paint scheme or if we are going to just follow the dimensional measurements on standard tank and apply to Interstate tank.

Thank you in advance.

Michael

 cheers

I'd use a red and black version of the tank as a pattern if you can get one to measure for a model.

Thanks.  Wish I knew someone in the area that has access to Interstate

I'd talk to your painter, and look for good internet photos (to send him).

Here's a whole set of pics on a yellow and black.  https://www.nationalpowersports.net/itemdetails.cshtml?itemid=43400

Notice the orange trim.

Red and black (is different?).  Or is there one with a basic solid stripe down the middle?

Some guys have switched the two tone colors (between solid and stripes) on the tank, but that might be too much black (and I like the yellow, and the bumblebee colors are one of my favorites).

Thanks for the photos Jess.  We have the all the paint for the Bee.  I will just have to find a two tone Interstate tank and pull some measurements.

Michael, I just had an Interstate tank painted for my 98 blue & cream standard Valkyrie trike. The stripes/bullhorns are definitely longer than the tourer/standard.I can take a few pics with measurements and send them to you. I have a hard time posting multiple pics on here.

2KVIS, would you be so kind as to send the pics/info to me also?  I have a Bee and am looking to swap the tank out also.

Thanks, Paul
