New 1975 Norton being unboxed for the first time.
Towards the end of the video in the background, it looks like a Valkyrie riding along.

Got a '68 that only has about 65k on the clock. It's the bar hopper but I don't do bars on two wheels so it only gets about 1k a season. It made it to Yellowstone a few years ago and i almost sold it as soon as I got back. Cheesy Grin

Heh, saw that earlier and almost posted it (Mostly for Britman).....

Liked his offer for what he'd be willing to trade it for! Smiley

(And I was slightly bemused by the fact that I was living in the UK when it was made!)

The beginning of the end for Norton.

Many thought they sold out using an electric start.

Lucas Prince of Darkness electrics.  Cheesy

Amazing for a boxed up crated motorcycle to still exist

awesome video I was crazy enough to tour on a Triumph Daytona 500cc twin in 1981 from Texas to Atlantic City NJ and back what a trip.  Those old British bikes were very unreliable  but I made it up there and back.

Little more history of THIS Norton, and some riding it...

....note what they use as a chase/camera bike to film the Norton in action!

There is probably a 98 Valkyrie still in the box somewhere!

As I recall, Nortons leaked oil.   (all or many)
