Just to finish up the trip information -
Day three 226 milesPerry, FL to Destin, FL was a nice trip, some nice roads along the Gulf coast but the camera was not properly charged so I don't have any videos.
What was sort of amazing (and we saw it last year) were the homes along the shore that were two and three floors "up" above the ground. In Myrtle Beach and Ocean Drive and Garden City, having the house along the coast one floor up was not unusually. But rarely (if ever) saw one two or three floors up.
Should have taken some stills but.......
Once you get past Port St. Joe and back onto US 98 its bumper to bumper a lot of the time. Three and four lanes but.... the traffic does move. Really not that much to see from the roadway.
We spent the night in Destin, FL.
Day Four 291 MilesDestin, FL to Warner Robbins, GA. We changed the route and did not go on US 98 but took the "Toll Road", FL 293, across Choctawhatchee Bay. It cost $4 for a car or motorcycle. But , if you tow a trailer like I do, it adds another $4. So, $8 to get across the bay and get on Fl CR 20. But, it is worth it.
I charged the camera before we left and it worked all day long unit a "bump" (more later).
Crossing Choctawhatchee Bay

https://youtu.be/xfa0G_STBQ4When traveled CR 20 unit we got to US 231 and took it north to Dothan, AL. There we got on AL 52 to cross into Georgia.
AL 52 is a nice rural road.
https://youtu.be/pfsptJ0u9vcFinally crossed into Georgia and took US 82 and then US 250 to Warner Robins, GA.
Video is traveling from Blakely to Cutburt, GA on GA Route 1/US 27. Rural but it's a four land.

Day 5 228 MilesWarner Robins, GA to Home. Ok..... It was cloudy when we left Warner Robins and about 50 degrees. We put on our rain gear (was suppose to rain all day) and headed out. After about 30 or 40 miles the rain began in earnest and we closed up our helmets.
I did not consider or think about my wife putting on her rain boots (over her regular boots) so she was getting wet.
Wife mentioned she saw some white stuff on my rain jacket (it was about 44 degrees then) which might have been sleet or maybe snow.
So, after traveling about 100 miles we checked the GPS and found a Hampton Inn. The plan was to stop and see if my Hilton Honors membership (and Diamond Status) would allow us to sort of hang out and warm up in the lobby area. No problem. Wife will send the manager a letter of thanks. We got some free coffee and the lady at the front desk even offered us some snacks.
We got warmed up, put on our neck gaiters and I put on my leather jacket under my rain jacket and we hit the road again. Temperatures around 44 and still raining. But it was much warmer. Wife did put on her rain over boots.
I do like the heated seats on the wing.

Regarding the camera. It's a Contour Roam 3 Model 1900. It's attached to the bikes windscreen so I can reach it and turn it on and off as needed to s take short videos of our trips. It's attached via a mount made by Yoda (from the Goldwing Forum). The issue is the way it mounts is via a 1/4 threaded "thing" in the bottom of the camera. And what holds it in place is friction.
Each time you mount it, you put more pressure on that connection. This time, we were traveling along and crossed a railroad track at about 50 MPH and there were some major issues with the roadway there. The bike bounced and the camera broke loose. I did not have the safety lanyard in place.
Here are some pictures of the camera, before

And after

The camera bounced on the roadway a few times, lens did not break but it appears to be damaged internally
Best mounting place in image below but cannot control it from there.
