The Colorado law, known as the
Idaho stop is an interesting concept. My first reaction was that bicyclists should be required to observe the same rules at intersections as all other vehicles. But, after very limited research on the subject, maybe there is support for the distinction.
MOTORCYCLES could go through stop lights that wouldn't change in NC before we left in 2018.... come to a FULL STOP, look, then proceed when safe.
A completely different concept. (IMHO, a stupid attempt to legislate common sense, but I do not want to hijack the thread.)
