One more turn should do it!

Kent, Ohio

I am currently looking at a few NC750's. I am wondering if there is anyone on the forum that has / had one? Looking for any info I can find. I have looked at Kaw Versys's, Suzuki V-Stroms. Hard for me to stray from a Honda. Also, the NC is a bit larger than the 650's from both I just mentioned, but smaller than the 1000's I just mentioned. All 3 have large followings. I am looking for a lighter bike, plain and simple. the 1000's are not enough of a weight savings. It may be mental, but I just cant see me going with a 650. I am 5'10" and 245.

Anxious to hear from you guys out there.

I am going to Pittsburgh today to look at a 2020 NC with some decent add ons w/2200 miles.

probably similar to the honda ctx700 I test drove a few years ago.  I passed on the deal since the rev limiter came on way too early while shifting and was gutless.  Good for a commuter with great mpg and was comfy though.  If can deal with much less power and good for just a comfy commuter mostly 1 up riding, and the price is right, go for it.

What I would REALLY like to get would be a 750-800CC "STANDARD", like the CB750F's I used to own. Shaft drive rather than chain, but you get the idea.

yah, chain drive is in my eyes somewhat of a downfall vs. shaft drive, but do-able.

If looking for more power same 750cc range,  my kid's 1997 honda VF750 magna is lighter weight 530lbs. and handles very well.  You can pick up a good used one 1997 thru say 2001 or so for 2500 or so.  You will never be short on power either is pretty quick, but then again have 4 carbs to deal with if things go bad.
