I was out on the trike yesterday and had to make a U turn. There are a lot of those situations around here. Anyway, I flipped a Ueee, and the trike shut down in the middle of the road. I  coasted to the side of the road and hit the start button. Nothing. So for some reason I knew I needed to cycle the power. I did so and she started right up. Eased on home and was investigating the circuit and the forum on how to get to the bank angle switch (BAS) and the relay. I was thinking about bypassing it, but decided that was a bad idea, even on a trike. I then found where others had found one of the 2 screws loose causing the BAS to tilt to one side. Sho nuff, when I dug into it today I found the right side screw loose and the BAS leaning. It was a lot quicker fix than I had anticipated.   All that to say how much I appreciate the wealth of knowledge and experience on the VRCC forum. It is truly a blessing to be able to get so much Valkyrie info in one place. The down side was I removed the battery to gain access and to tighten the screw. I had a lot of things connected to the battery posts. I had purchased a PC-8 power distribution module a while back but hadn't installed it. So since my repair went quickly, I decided to do the PC-8 install. No good deed goes unpunished. ;-)

Ride safely,
Dave

I have noticed when mounting the bank angle switch that if not careful when installing the screws it is possible to miss locate one. Screws, nuts and bolts coming loose on a Valkyrie or a Gold Wing do not seem likely if installed properly.

Good point John. It could be an issue from when the trike was hit from behind. I am just now getting it back on the road after the accident.
