Heh, memories of the 50's go way beyond those in their 50's or even 60's.... I'm in my 50's.... and was born in the 1970's.... Smiley

Yes, to remember the fifties at all one needs to be seventies or older.   Smiley

I do remember most of those images, but...... there is one, sort of special, in a way.

My parents were from Pennsylvania.  Each year, don't remember when we started but it was when I was 6 or 7 so early 50's, we would take a two week road trip for our home in SC to PA.   We would visit Mohnton, Allentown, and Kutztown among other places.   For some reason my Aunt's in Kutztown had an old WWII German jeep in the backyard.

Anyway, one August day while we were in Kutztown I was allowed to go to the movie theater by myself.  The move that I watched was "Singing in the Rain".  So.......  while I did not watch all the 10 minute video, I did see, at time 9:41 a scene from that movie.  And yes, I did look it up to verify.

Oh the movie I took my first Prom date to in 1963 was "Breakfast at Tiffanys" at the Rivoli Theater in Myrtle Beach, SC.   I did not notice a scene from that movie in the link.   And yes, I remember her name and yes, I remember where she lived and no I did not marry her.......  But... memories are memories.
