Motorcycle Auction in Wisconsin

When to a reveal this Saturday to look at the motorcycles to be auctioned this Saturday. Mostly Japanese bikes, most of them in very nice shape, but they’ve been sitting many years brought some back memories. I wouldn’t be able to make I’ll be Salt Lake City for the next week.

on a few of those older cycles, a  300 mininum buyers fee might be more than the cycles are worth.

Online Bids - 15% Buyer's Premium

Phone Bids - 13% Buyer's Premium

Live In-Person Bids - 10% Buyer's Premium

Minimum Buyers Fee: $300 Minimum Buyers Fee or 10% / 15% per item (whichever is greater) on all motorcycle, car, and truck purchases

Auctioneers already get a cut of the sale dollars then charge a buyer's premium; I chose to not participate.

yah, it varies on auctioneer fees.  I contacted 2 local small auctioneers nearby me when was thinking of having an auction to sell my mom's house and stuff.  One wanted a flat fee while the other wanted 5% fee added to all items sold, including the house.   I thought that was a bit much, but at least the house fees and most others were the BUYER would pay, not me the seller.

I could be wrong but, the vast majority of buyers take that 5% fee into consideration and it is reflected in their bids/offers.   Ensures the cost of the item is higher to the buyer and less goes to the seller.
