My best friend use to live in Sarasota. He'd tell me how when people retired, they moved to Miami and Ft lauderdale. Their parents moved to Sarasota.

we feel people retire to Sarasota to be close to their parents - who live in Venice (20 mi. south) ahh, driving through Venice-I'd rather have a root canal!! remember-growing old is way better than the alternative! sometimes I almost feel guilty enjoying life at my age (I said almost!) as much as I am never would have believed it if you'd told me that 25 years ago.

As one of my friends told his son during an arguement, "You may be young and fast but I'm old and devious."

Watch out for old men, if they figure they are to old to take an a$$ kickin, they'll just shoot you. I'm 63, and I'm too old to take an a$$ kickin, unless it's another 63 year old man! Hoser

Funny how that works - the older we get so does the range we consider as old I use think 35 was old, now that I'm in my 60's I consider 80 old ??? maybe
