back at something you have done? Well it did for me and I had decided to look once again at the carbs before re-installing everything on Iris's bike. I had one slow jet that I had not tightened up and probably would have loosened up and fallen out eventually. I got it all back together today, it was raining anyway. MUCH MUCH better. Seems like a new bike now. I took it for a short run even though it was a little wet out.
I desmogged it and changed the small hoses on each carb as well as the intake o-rings and cleaned all the junk out of the bowls and slow jets.

I've made it a habit before I button everything back up, I walk away and come back a couple hours later or even the next morning.  Invariably I find something I forgot to do.

Thats one of the best things to do is have a second look. A little tip as you work on your bike break down what you are doing into smaller jobs in your mind and then take each step and recheck before you go on to the next. It really is the same thing but it saves you time because it allows to recheck without full reassembly and have the confidence that what you did in the previous step was good. Kind of like building a house and laying the foundation then the next step and next. Then when you are all done you can do a final look see to verify. Grin
