New York City has bought 200 Tesla police cars. I think that may work out well. Dont see a down side to it. They probly wont travel more than a days charge. Might be a good place to try it. Will save 700 gallons of fuel a year on average per vehicle. However it doesn't say what happens when they are badly crashed in high speed chases.

Even after checking for empty, one should not do that. Ever. Not that handing an actor a live ammo loaded gun is without fault. I've not read up on this other than the DA fumbled the ball badly. Apparently competence in any job is not longer required.

What Jess Said. After all Alec Baldwin did pull the trigger.

Someone brought live ammo on to a closed set. One report said the crew was using the prop guns for target practice after hours. Seems like there should be a couple more people held accountable. Armorist deffinately dropped the ball.

Alec Baldwin may not know anything about guns and probably doesnt...I dont know. He is an actor...on a movie set....he has been told by a gun safety expert employee that the gun is harmless. He did what actors do in a scene. He pointed the documented "harmless gun" and pulls the trigger. I dont see he is at fault. My opinion it was a tragic accident on his part.
