These guys use hex head screws in the square knobs
of the knobby tires. For the grip on ice.
Sportsmanship might mean keeping space between
tires and legs, get one o' them tires rubbin up
against you, gonna hurt. I noticed they all kept
a fair distance.
Those are no snowmobiles with heat from the engine to flow
over your hands, just bare bikes out in the freezer.
Some sturdy dudes runnin there.

He's sent me links to youtube clips of it before. It does look like fun. But yeah, with nails and screws in the tires you have room for mistakes.
