Anyone here besides me watch that race yesterday? That hit Kyle Larson took in the 5 car by Preece was near horrific. The 5s passenger side bar was bent inwards quite a bit. Both drivers stated it was a helluva hit. As it stood yesterday both drivers were seen by the medical teams and released. THAT IS Good News for both drivers. NASCAR has the 5 car and 2 others at their R & D center for further evaluation. RIDE SAFE.

NASCAR has made leaps and bounds on safety since Dale Earnhardt's untimely death. I don't believe there have been any deaths since then, and although some drivers did get injured from some accidents, they were able to return to competition within the same season.

The “super speedway” races are so subjective. It matters not who has the good car, or the good driver. It really comes down to who is lucky enough to not get wrecked. Kyle Busch sucked all day, but was in the right place at the right time.

Leaps and bounds on safety.

However had had to go back and watch Dale’s 2000 there win once again.

I switched channels on the second green/white/checker. Tire of the final laps aggression.
BTW: I was in the infield in 2001 watching the last lap. A sad day for all of us.

Yeah - SUperSpeedways (especially with the restrictor plate) are actually kind of boring until "The Big One" happens. OTOH - I wish NASCAR would do even more Road Course races - THAT'S exciting racing !!!

There’s suppose to be a NASCAR type this year at LeMans.  Don’t know much more about it.

As far as plate racing goes, well not too much to say that hasn’t been said already. My favorite is, give the drivers enough power that forces them to lift into the turns.

NASCAR has a new Experimental Electric Stock Car - Known as the EES Car in development.

After millions being spent on the project they are still unable to make the EES Car go.
