Has anyone used goldwing rear air shocks on their valk? I found one post  here where a guy did it but didn't say how his experiment turned out. I tried a pair of harley showas I got off ebay , but the pressures I needed to ride right were WAY over the harley max recommened. I had to run 80 psi! I work on our local police bikes , most run 20-30 psi with a max load , so I suspect the problem is in the angle and position of the mounting causing excessive mechanical advantage on the valks swing arm. comments?

Progressive make air shocks for the Valk and the Goldwing usually is a mono shock and would require modification to the swing arm and mounting. I know that the Progressives may be a bit pricey but sometimes its the best way to go. Of course like anything ask yourself do I want to ride or modify my bike
