This picture was taken at 0730 today, it's now 1137 and still coming down but with less wind. Welcome to still being winter on May 1 in Green Bay. I swear, anyone living in this area needs to have their head examined...my appt. is Tuesday next week.  Grin

Granted, with temps above freezing it won't stay long. That's not the point...it's MAY for pete's sake. Angry

It’s not uncommon for it to be snowing on the Minnesota fishing opener that is mid May. On the 22 of April I left the Twin Cities for Branson Mo. snowed the night before and melted then froze on the bridge decks. I had to make sure that I was in the right lane at the bridge deck then hit the melted wheel tracks. Higher power kept an eye on me.

Groan! Just remember...paybacks can be had at any moment.  Wink

As you and others know, I didn't have a huge choice on where to go and was a decision I had to make quickly following the funeral after Rita passed. I rec'd. little help from her kids during the last few years even though all three lived no more than 2 hrs. away. My daughter and husband found the place where I've been living since moving here in 2019, I couldn't ask for more...it's a nice place and have great neighbors. As you can see by the picture, it's also a great neighborhood...very clean and rather quiet even with kids around. As for the weather...it sucks, turns out I'm not the only one fed up with the weather. Even the natives are restless.  Grin

Thanks for the reminder on why I would never consider living north of the Ohio River again.   Actually, I'm partial to the southern side of the Mason Dixon line and yeah, I know where it runs through and to.

guess consider lucky could be worse say Duluth MN and up there more so over 1 ft of snow or so?  Roll Eyes

The older I get the worse it gets as well not liking winter as much as I use to.  Past 2 weekends since not retired forced to work M-F, digging 8 holes for fruit trees and shoveling 5 cu yards of black dirt to backyard using wheelbarrow and shovels in 43 degree temps when it was sleeting pellets down on my wife and I,   we questioned our common sense doing so at the time.

I have not had any time either to mow the grass 1st time this year as well having to mow neighbors yard he gone for 2 months asking me to do that as well.

What is WORST, is I have not had time to put even the batteries in any of the cycles and paid the yearly premium ready to go on April 12th.     Cry

this better be the END of 32 degree temps overnight.  Woke up to FROST yet again on vehicles' windshields sitting in the driveway.  Unless my memory is getting worse than I thought,  I do not remember many years being this cold temps overnight here in early May, let alone snow still.  Sad indeed not even put batteries in scoots yet and will not this weekend either..... Nuthin unusual, after all it is the upper Great Lakes, in  the central U.P. there was close to 2’ here in the Eastern U.P. it was snow/rain little to no accumulation, but I’m certainly ready for spring weather.
