It's perfect for drinking but not for riding this morning. The Diet Coke brought in from the garage was just right. Oh yea, it's 11 here this morning.

It's a balmy 17f here (Northeast Kansas) this morning.   Cool

Of course, you do get up earlier than do I.

It is going to get just above freezing here (South Carolina) today, but a lot of Churches and stuff
are closed... steps and parking lots and backroads are pretty dangerous... I went down the road
a few miles yesterday afternoon while it was above freezing, the temp went below freezing before
I came back, roads were a little slick even then... this slipping back and forth between freezing and
not freezing when there's a lot of wet out makes for some interesting conditions...

A toasty 10F here in the Nashville area.

I see someone else already remarked on the Schlitz glass!

Its 11 degrees here also. I just got in from Cancun last night it was 86 degrees when I boarded the plane and in the teens when we landed. I was still in flip flops and shorts.

We ate at the little thatch roof hut on Isla Mujeres. Cheap food that was to die for. Just dont be in a hurry.

Oh well I need to go get bundled up and get on the tractor to clean the snow off my drive  Sad

I had a fuse blow on my tractor while driving through Montreal on Highway 40 Yesterday. Cruising along at 100kph and the engine just conked out. I pulled off to the side figured it was frozen fuel line. Temp was -28C with a windchill of -32. I spent about 4 hours in my truck waiting to get towed and again for a service truck. Got so cold in there I stayed in my sleeping bag with winter clothes on until they finally came to fix it.
No bikes out today either.

was 12 when I awoke but going up to 24

Have not had the Valkyrie out since returning home except for a 15 minute ride to say hello and how are you  so I shall be warming up my valkyrie in a few minutes and I WILL be wearing the heated gloves for this ride if I can find them in the garage. Seems I moved everything all around to make room for the R1150RT-P. I know my chaps are out there (probably about 12 degrees like Ray's coke and love the schlitz glass Ray)

Since I am neither in Cancun nor south carolina I shall not wear the sandals and shorts however long pants and boots as usual shall be the order or the day.

Then after my perusal of the reservoirs points north and east I will ride down to see the Gman on the Taconic Parkway and find out how the motorcycle show was since he aint answering my posts  He wont ride tho in this temp.

It got up to the low 40s today.  Gave me the opportunity for a 45 minute ride where it dropped into the upper 30s.  Fortunately at our elevation, the sun burns the snow/ice off the roads quickly.
