It's a beautiful cold day and still not above freezing . I'm just hoping we can make it through Asheviile tomorrow if anyone knows the conditions please post back here we need to get from Myrtle Beach to Knoxville , Tennessee and we are on motorcycles.

Wish I could help you on the conditions in Asheville Joe, but the only LOCAL weather I get is out of Charlotte.
Have you thought about I-20 to Atlanta and then I-75 to Knoxville? That way you don't have to cross the mtns. I know Atlanta traffic is he?? but the mtns may be worse with the snow and ice.  Undecided

If you elect the Atlanta-Chattanooga-Knoxville route.

Chattanooga clearing up nicely, OK for today, should be fine tomorrow.

Most people I know have to cut a vacation short...you're one of the few I know, Joe, who extends it...so, as you often say....

It's hard to hide money.

No, Joe's not the only one who extended his vacation.  I just  paid for a whole week here at Myrtle Beach to enjoy the great weather and some golf.

Joe, I came back Sunday, Myrtle Beach to Wilmington, 74 to I-95. 95 to I-20, I20 to I26, stayed on 26 all the way to 81 and then in to home, roads all clear, not even much wet, you wont have a problem.
