More like smoke in the air. It moved in yesterday with help from strong wind from the north all day. Seems like Alberta is going into yet another bad year of forest fires. Being outdoors is tough for a lot of folks. This photo is out front of my home at 8 pm. It’s not this dark at 10. I was hoping for a good camping season but the entire province has a fire ban on and who wants to camp without a real camp fire. Riding is useless as well when it’s like this. I’ve lived my whole life here and I remember a fire season here and there but nothing like we’ve had for the past 10 or so. web hosting images

I’m in Minnesota, and we had the same looking sunset at 8pm. Word is the smoke is from your fires up there.

Uggh. I've seen Colorado summer skies that look like that. Hoping for the best this season, but there is a whole bunch of beetle kill here in the Western half of the state. They are scrambling to clean it up, but I'm afraid it's a matter of time before it goes whoosh! Right now we're in an early monsoon pattern so fire danger is pretty low.

We are also seeing the effects of Canadian fires. I hope you all are doing well up there.

Haven't seen any smoke this far east yet. Prairie smoke stops somewhere around Thunder Bay. Hope you all get through it.

Shame some of the west coast moisture didn't get as far as Canada. We had probably more than we needed. Due to this moisture the "fine Fuels" will really grow and we'll probably have fires later in the summer. We got spoiled last summer, hardly and fires and smoke.

Air has clears some but not good enough to ride so what’s a guy to do? Oh, I know…. Service and a new tire so when the air clears, well you know!
