We had so many pics I thought I'd save some for the winter when cabin fever set in. When I saw that Raymond was riding laps in his garage I thought it might be time.  Smiley
After crossing Independence Pass we came upon Twin Lakes. A beautiful area

We had a good lunch here at the Inn of the Blackwolf. Located across the rd from the lakes the inn was a layover on a stagecoach route. Lodging, food, alcohol and prostitutes were available to the travelers. Wish I had pics of the interior. Great ambiance.

I liked this shot Carol took along the way. The sky and mtns are awesome in colorful Colorado.

The Blue Mesa Reservoir is one of the most beautiful bodies of water I've seen. I have better pics but haven't resized and posted them to photobucket yet.

This was from hwy 92 somewhere along the north rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

If memory serves me correctly, this is in the town of Delta, CO. There was murals painted on the sides of many of the buildings.

So's not to bore y'all I'll leave it there for tonite. Hope y'all enjoy the pics. We sure as heck enjoyed the trip.

Great photos!

On a sad note, The Inn of the Blackwolf website shows that the Inn is closed.   Angry Sad

Beautiful  Ronnie.  I may have been in Denver airport, but that would be the closest I've been to those mountains.  I hope to ride there someday.

Thanks. Checked out the website for the Black Wolf. Sad indeed. We thought they had a good thing going. Would have stayed a nite there but we needed to push on. So much to see and so many roads to ride.

Always nice to see pictures of Colorado.  Great state to ride in.

Three words Jess, just do it. You won't regret it. I'd like to have a $5.00 bill for every time one of us said WOW !!!.
