Morning All,

I has managed to get some beautiful hand made leather panniers from sweeden.  However I will have to fabricate an adapter for them to fit on the stand racks I have.  This got me wondering, is there such thing as adaptor plates?

Failing that has anyone got the dimensions or a diagram to show the bolt pattern for the standard leather bags?

Thanks

"I will have to fabricate an adapter for them to fit on the stand racks I have."

I don't know what you meant by "stand racks," but Hondaline leather saddlebags came with brackets. Bolt 10 and Bolt 11 secure the brackets to the grabrails.
So the only fixed dimension is the distance between Bolt 10 and Bolt 11. Four bolts attach the saddlebags to the brackets themselves (B). The pattern for the 4 bolts
on an adapter depends on the specific bracket which is probably as good as the bolting pattern on a Hondaline bracket. Of course it's not an adapter at that stage,
but simply a mounting plate. Btw, would you happen to have pics of those "hand made leather panniers from sweeden"? No pics, didn't happen.

Ebay saddlebags.

Easy Brackets:

Don't know for sure if these are Easy Bracket as I have set of original Ghost/Edge Brackets (no longer made) that weren't as well made as the Easy Bracket IMO. The part listing is different than EZB's:

What's nice is you can make bottom supports that you can attach to the brackets and easy removal for cleanup.

I am looking to make an adapter frame to attach these - I have access to a water cutter so wanted an accurate dimensioned drawing.  Photos attached
