I could not come for the whole week.

Seeing it was slated to rain most of the week, I drove my truck down.

This year my goal was to try and visit with old friends and fellow riders.  I did my best.

We're an aging crowd on aging bikes, and I saw more (nice) trikes than ever before.  Lot of nice bikes too.

Thank you staff for all you do for us, every year.

You all ride safely out there.   And watch 'yer topknot.   Smiley

That van of yours is certainly large enough for a valk inside, and the lazyboy recliner you have  2funny
It was good to see you again Jess

I was looking hard at the orange trailer (kendon?) that someone came with from Iowa

Do not see how I can bring Bonnie to far off Inzanes without towing my Interstate

Also I LOVE the look of Dan's 2021 Wing (and Roger's trike same colors)

Hubcap glad to help anytime

I'd much rather be there, in the rain, than here at home, not in the rain, working...  Cry

So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Precipitation has not slowed me down one bit, enjoying the heck out of seeing all my old friends and meeting new ones.

This event is worth the effort just for the social time with some good folks.   Staff, you've done well again.   I assume Carl was in charge of weather scheduling.  Wink

As this week comes to a close, I have several thoughts but, the primary ones are these two.

Connie, Michael, Lori, Carl, Barb and Don busted their butts to ensure we all had the best event possible.   Personally, I think the weather was Carl's fault but have no real proof.  Wink  But someone resembling Carl was outside doing a rain dance so..............................

For this event, I've decided to remember it as the RainZain.   Staff, thanks for all the effort on our behalf.   Looking forward to next year, my only suggestion is, let's look for a drier climate.  Cheesy

we just rolled in, took a detour to Moorseville NC to visit Bonnie's friend, spoke with Theresa on the way north, then stopped for dinner with 3W and Deb

What an interesting week it has been  Great adventures in eating with TxDeb, Dan, Trish, Tom and Joyce
at Paint Bank general store (BBQ buffalo) and thanks 3fan for the ride to the creamery for that great hot fudge ice cream sundae (black rasperry and peach)
which was followed by parts of 4 pies.   My goodness I was flyin from that sugar lol

The staff as mentioned goes full tilt for us and the members especially Troutdude and Mitcho and others are always willing to lend a hand

John it was nice to meet your lovely bride. Wonder if you ever got a ride in?

Hubcap thanks for the slice of pecan pie (I shared it with Texas Deb)

Hope all have clear skies and no incidents on their way home.
