My son John, (Savage) and I got back to Southport NC last night and unloaded all the vendor booth stuff into the shop. We then put the feedbag on with some lasagna my wife provided. He headed home to South Carolina, and "docked" at midnight safe and sound.

We had a GREAT time as vendors at Rainzane. We got to hang with a lot of awesome people. We consider it a privilege to serve this community. We obviously hope to make some money selling all this stuff, but mostly we love Valkyries and the folks that ride them, and want to provide stuff that is needed at a reasonable price. As a bonus, our motorcycle events are more like a family reunions with a family that has motorcycles.

The rain certainly dampened the riding for many, but it gave a lot of us a chance to fellowship where we might not have had it been dry. I kept finding myself hanging out till the wee hours of the morning swapping stories. As is usually the case with a bunch of raconteurs, the first liar never has a chance. The next thing you know it is 0300, and your ribs are sore from laughing, or  DTT has caused you to inductively realize some  great wisdom that was the product of 750,000 miles of Zen on a Valkyrie. He does it in the manner of a monk that has walked a long road in silence and humility, and you are blessed to be there when he speaks. Love you my brother.

It was good to see everyone and hang out. Hope everyone returns home safe and healthy. Looking forward to the next time.

Ride safely,
Dave

Dave,

A major highlight of that event for this normally reclusive rider was coming across you and John! Often, I come into contact with wise people or knowledgeable folks, but only rarely do they impact my thinking the way our conversations have... I do hope our paths cross again... and again... Thanks for the rare but fabulous and uplifting experience!

It was a pleasure and an honor to spend that time with you Bruce. I look forward to when our paths cross again on this journey. If you collywooble over to coastal NC, the wife and I have a couple of guest rooms. You are welcome any time. John is over in SC. I recon you could talk him into putting you up! ;‐)
Hope to see you soon.

It was great having you there as a vendor.

Great big shout-out to you and especially John for taking care of my tail light issue.

We had a blast, and are intent on being at InzaneXXIV, Lord willing and the creek don't rise.

Thanks for helping us out as well. This is a awesome group of folks.

Dave, it was good to finally meet up with you and John after the work you did with the belt tensioners you created. We had a nice chat that one evening and I shared the choke lever idea with you and John. Hope to see you both next year.

Good to meet you face to face John. I enjoyed our talk. We will be exploring the possibilities with the choke lever. John got some pics to work from.

Congrats on your trike winning in the peoples choice bike show. She looks great up close and personal.

Ride safely,
Dave
