In the Air Force, we were always told jet noise was the sound of freedom.

The jets were great, but when the CAMS (consolidated aircraft maintenance squadron) folks over on the flightline fired up an engine on the stand at 2AM, it rattled the pictures on my base house walls.  That was free too.   

We had several great air shows out there during my tour, and the low level high speed runs of the SR71s and B-52s would rock your world. 

Another time (also at March AFB, Riverside CA) an earthquake shook a large picture (covered in glass) off the wall over our bed, smashing the glass in the process.  There were no injuries, but a lot of excitement, and thereafter nothing that could fall on us was left on the walls (or anywhere else).

So, in answer to my own question, I could not find any reference that the movie or it's producers are involved in any other activities except exposing a sinister activity and movie making profit.

Not to say either is a bad goal.

It's seems there has been many reports around the country of movie theaters experiencing A/C system failures and returning online tickets sales with out explanation.

One video I saw, a women stated "the hallways, the concession area and bathrooms all had A/C, just not the theater" 

I can't remember the last time I went to a movie theater, I think it was the Titanic movie back in 97 or so, but I think I want to go see this movie, just because someone doesn't want me too.

There has been a few media outlets that have been bashing the movie (Jezebel, Slate, Rolling Stone).  And it's uncanny that these same bashers are all saying the same things:  q'anon, need to be concerned with "real" problems, etc (it's like they are all copying each other's homework, but that's impossible).  Apparently, 27 million children sold into slavery is not a "real" issue.

Just made it today and got an afternoon showing. It's been out for 2 weeks now and the local theater was packed, it got a ln audience clap at the end.

What a sobering film!

Critical response
On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 72% based on 36 reviews, with an average rating of 6.7/10. The website's critics consensus reads: "Sound of Freedom is an effective and suspenseful call to action against human trafficking, yet not free of issues in its depiction of the sensitive subject matter."[22] On Metacritic, the film has a weighted average score of 43 out of 100, based on six critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[23]

Variety's Owen Gleiberman gave the film a positive review, writing, "Let's assume that, like me, you're not a right-wing fundamentalist conspiracy theorist looking for a dark, faith-based suspense film to see over the holiday weekend. (The movie opens July 3.) Even then, you needn't hold extreme beliefs to experience Sound of Freedom as a compelling movie that shines an authentic light on one of the crucial criminal horrors of our time, one that Hollywood has mostly shied away from."[24] Film Threat's Alan Ng also recommended the film: "Sound of Freedom is almost as if you're listening to Tim Ballard tell his incredible story of rescuing children and having it dramatized onscreen. It's heartfelt, informative, and inspiring."[25]

Rolling Stone's Miles Klee gave a more critical review, writing, "[Sound of Freedom] is a stomach-turning experience, fetishizing the torture of its child victims and lingering over lush preludes to their sexual abuse. At times I had the uncomfortable sense that I might be arrested myself just for sitting through it ... To know thousands of adults will absorb ... this vigilante fever dream, and come away thinking themselves better informed on a hidden civilizational crisis ... well, it's profoundly depressing. Worse still, they'll want to spread the word."[26]

Glenn Kenny, writing for The New York Times, similarly noted "The queasiness derives from the contemporary-thriller vibes of the police procedural material... Then there are the scenes in which actual child actors perform being prepped for provocative pictures by adult groomers. What are the ethics of depiction here? The makers of this film initially seem to be grappling with how to properly tell this story." He went on to say "The director Alejandro Monteverde does have some sense of flourish, what with several single-point perspective shots and considered dissolves", but concluded "Oddly, the picture's muted tone ultimately undercuts its solemn sense of mission."[27]

RogerEbert.com's Nick Allen was also negative: "Sound of Freedom is a solemn, drawn-out bore with a not particularly bold narrative stance—caring about the safety of children is roughly the easiest cause for any remotely decent human being... But while being so committed to such solemnity and suffering, the truncated storytelling by co-writers Monteverde and Rod Barr neglects to flesh out its ideas or characters or add any more intensity to Ballard's slow-slow-slow burn search for two kids in particular (Lucás Ávila's Miguel and Cristal Aparicio's Rocío) whose faces haunt him."[28]

Slate's Sam Adams said in his review that the movie appears to be "a straightforward search-and-rescue thriller, in which Ballard, a special agent at the Department of Homeland Security, goes rogue to free a young girl from the clutches of a Colombian sex-trafficking ring. But it arrived in theaters surrounded by a cloud of innuendo put forth by its star and its noisiest right-wing supporters—conspiratorial insinuations about who doesn't want this story to be told and what real-world traffickers are really up to."[29]

Faith-based reviews were largely positive.[30][31][32] Crosswalk's Michael Foust said the film was "painful to watch" but "necessary", adding that "Caviezel is marvelous as Tim Ballard. The cinematography, musical score and script are perfect. It's not a movie you'll watch again and again, but it is a film you'll recommend to family and friends. Cinematically, it's excellent."[33]
