The old CBX wasn't exactly a money maker either. The Rune was more about ego more than anything in my perspective. An expensive ego for sure. It's hard to believe they designed a bike that isn't exactly appealing to masses and somebody said this chit would sell. Still can't beat GM Chevy Vega and BMW early inline 4 cyl. motorcycle running steel rings on aluminum cylinders coated or raw. One thing for sure the Rune is becoming a collector bike as Jay Leno has one in his collection. Nice to see someone can write a article with so much ammo to feed negativity in the world. Relevance is always needed by someone.

BTW if I had some spare change I would have one but I have to be satisfied with the 1st. edition so to speak.  Smiley
