Kathy has taken to calling all the visits we are making to family her "World Tour". So the "World Tour" continued last weekend in Ripley, NY. Small town on Lake Erie where her cousins own a few cottages. We had a fantastic time. It was only going to be a few cousins and aunts and uncles. It turned out to be almost 45 or so. Her brothers and their families, cousins from Vegas, Memphis, Nashville, Indiana, DC and all other places, plus some of their children as well. They all know the situation and showed Kathy the love of family for sure. It was a fabulous 5 days. The good-byes were long and painful but needed. These are the ones that were left on Monday morning

This weekend we are in one of our favorite getaways, Rangeley, Maine. It's amazing that both our families came here when we were young. Its a good thing we didn't meet then, she would have thought I was a hooligan. She may still think that, but she knows how to deal with it now.

This is us this year. We love this place and the people. Travis the owner is the owner and is a stand out guy for the community and his staff and guests. He knows Kathy's deal and offered any assitance while we are here.

Kathy is starting to feel more and more the effects of the cancer. She can barely eat anymore, and even drinking is starting to be an issue. She still receives TPN (nutrients and vitamins) and hydration through IV. She can't stay on her feet long. She tires pretty quickly. She has one more trip that she is determined to make. When we get home from here, she leaves July 8th to see her son and daughter-in-law in Charleston SC. I have tried talking her out of it, but she's determined. So, airline was notified, they will have a wheelchair at both airports and her son is making accommodations for while she is there. I'm praying for strength for her for just a while longer.
We love all of you. If it was in my power, I'd have a "World Tour" party with you all.
