I've searched for but cant find anything on Dark side front tire.
I understand its rear MT mounted backwards.
What size tire, I cant find a 150/80 R17 ?

I believe there is a rear bias ply Dunlop 150 (no problem mixing with rear radial) guys have run up front and they like them a lot, and get great mileage (20K?).

I believe there are many more choices in 130 rears on front, which work fine.  Though I prefer 150s in front to handle the stresses of a big heavy bike cranking and banking. 

Also, take a look at Michelin Commander II (dual compound) radials which come in some 140 rears (and half sizes) that might go in front.  I ran a rear on front Commander II and it was a great handling tire, but barely went 7K (so not again).

 

I think darkside as a term means car tires in back, not rear bike tires in front.  But many have called this double darkside.

I have used 130/90-17. Roughly the same diameter, but not as wide.
