I can not remember my last bad day

« on: February 02, 2010, 07:42:41 AM »

On Dec 28th My daughter gave birth to our 13th grandchild. His name was Jason David. Jason came into the world 3 months early and weighed just 18 oz. However according to the doctors he was doing very well and called him a feed and grow premme. Well, 2 days ago the Lord decided to call Baby Jason home. On Saturday when my Son-in-Law and Daughter were visiting all was well. Very early Sunday morning his organs began to shut down and were told that there was nothing that could be done to medically assist him because of how fast this was happening. Later Sunday night he was gone. I am now in Lawton OK taking care of his final arrangments. I have not even burried my parents yet, let alone a grandchild. This is an extremely difficult time for all of us. I am very gratefull that I had the opportunity to see him just after the birth. He was the smallest child I have ever seen. It is a time like this that my wife and I trust our faith in God and try not to understand why, just knowing that it is his physical body that is gone and his spirit is alive and well. I am asking for prayer support for the strenghth to assit my Daughter and Son-in-Law through this difficult time. Thank you in advance for this prayer support.

Big Mike,
From the bottom of my heart, I am standing in the gap for you and yours. I was a Grandparent myself for just shy of 7 months. When I lost Anna it tore me up real bad. But I take comfort in knowing God loves her even more than I ever could, (still hard to comprehend) and I will see her again in her glorified body. Mike, we have his assurance that he is preparing a place for us. Be strong in His strength, be there for your kids and we will be here for you.
Your friend up in Buffalo,
