I have a question about TN titles.  I've heard from a seller that he has a TN title that does not need to be notarized. Sounds right to me, but I haven't bought a TN vehicle in a while. I know SC doesn't notarize.  Thoughts? Info?

Thanks.

Following is a link to a TN Bill of Sale that I have used in the past.  I don't think that it has a place for a Notary Signature, and I have never had a Notary witness any of my transactions in the past.

That having been said...(this is the part where I protect myself from any Democrat lawyers lurking in the sewer),  I would recommend that you check with the TN Department of Transportation to make certain what laws apply in the state of TN.

actually, I'll wind up taking it to a NC DMV. Crossing state lines is sometimes fun.

I remember arguing with a local NC DMV operative about what GA titles looked like.

Thanks Jim.

No notary needed in Tennessee.
