At last peek it looked like Yarmouth, N.S. will be taking a punch on the nose from this storm....
Generator all ready to go...liquor cabinet overflowing, plenty of grub for grill inside, closet filled with TP..
Going to settle in and watch it happen....
Lots of businesses in Bar Harbor have pre-closed for tomorrow...the national park has closed a stretch of the Ocean Drive Loop....Panic has settled in to those who watch too much news....
It will be a nor'easter with rain instead of snow....

Hey Terry! I was thinking of you guys and popped on to the board to post and saw your post. As expected, you guys are well prepared. That said, I hope it's not too bad for you guys. Loosing power for days sucks, even if you have a generator. Take care.

Good morning Tony....So far, nothing spectacular with this storm.

Some outlying communities are experiencing loss of power...the backside of MDI and also heading east up the coast and towards Rt 9...

We took down all wind chimes, all but one humming bird feeder, and put the picnic table umbrella away..
Will have all back in place tomorrow and be cooking outside once again....

It's just another windy rainy day here on the coast....

We did the same here, meaning taking down the wind chimes, the umbrella's and pop-up. We wanted to be ready in case the storm moved west from its forecast path. It did the opposite. It moved east. So we've got no meaningful wind here and just a little rain. We're happy about it. It's also good news for the folks on Cape Cod, the Islands and Cape Ann on the North Shore.

Like you guys, we expect to be grilling dinner tonight. We've got Farrow Island salmon fillets that are perfect for grilling. Enjoy the 2nd half of your weekend!  cooldude

Same here Tony, glad the storm tracked off it's original course and headed more east..

Enjoy your grilled salmon.  We love grilled salmon, even made salmon chowder with it.

I'm wanting to try a spatchcock chicken on the smoker tomorrow, which means heading into town this afternoon and picking up a good sized oven roaster... 7 to 8 lb'er.
One thing almost for sure, there shouldn't be any crowds in the grocery stores....  crazy2
