So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Covington, TN

« on: October 14, 2023, 03:13:08 PM »

Not that anyone would give a darn but, I took a ride today.   Took a roundabout trip to get to the Gulf, along the beach for a while then turned back north to head home after stopping for lunch.   It's the first time I've been back on two wheels since f6gal kicked my ____ in Roanoke.

As many witnessed at InZane, I could barely walk with a cane and ended up on crutches.   ER Doc said he thought I had a torn meniscus but couldn't verify since they can't do an MRI on me.   He was right, had an acute torn meniscus.   That was fixed but, ended up with a bleeder internally and had to have it drained five times while healing.   My knee looked like a bowling ball.   Regardless, got home and had it fixed (kind of).   Will eventually need a new knee.  Word of advice to those who want to tangle with f6gal, Don't.  Wink

Anyway, road the Rat Bike for just over 200 miles and had one heck of a good time.   Was great to be back in the wind.

I rode around the block to help dry off the bike after washing. Best I could manage today. A Gulf ride would be nice, glad you are back on two wheels, or even three.

Good to hear you’re back on 2 wheels Ron!
Now I don’t have to ever tie your sneakers in the lobby again… Grin 2funny

Tis beautiful weather for riding down here.  Bring it on.   Found a great place for some wonderful huge shrimp today.   You show up, I'm buying the shrimp!

Ron,

Yeah, a double dose of that amazing wind therapy is plum magical! Makes us pity those who are oblivious to it, huh...? Glad ya finally got to savor the head-clearing, soul-cleansing, spirit-lifting attributes only to be found that way. Now, continue to get better, take care of medical issues, and then let's go for a burger in some exotic location! You won't believe what that'll do for ya!!!
