First ride of the season…..for Lynda! Although it looks warm, it was chilly up top of Hwy40 by a good 10* hence, we were glad we geared up properly and Lynda’s a trooper. There is some snow up high on the north side of the mountains. It’s awesome when the road is empty…..like you have it all to yourself and the rams agree! Safest place for them actually as it is hunting season. Little stop along the river for a snack Lynda prepared was great and then home for a backyard fire. Hoping there will be another chance for this before seasons end.

The bike was set up for solo riding all season up till now. This adventure was actually Lynda‘s idea. I’m glad she likes to go.

Snack time.

Warm up later by the fire out back.
350km ride, all an hour from home. It’s really hard to get tired of the scenery here and we’re very fortunate to live so close to it.  Cool

About an hour and a half on the Trans Canada and maybe 2 hrs on the 1A.....slower, prettier.

Great post, great pictures, great country... er, very pretty wife.    cooldude

But if I saw one of those bighorns looking at me (on my bike) from the edge of the road locally, I think I might crap my pants.   Grin
