Friends.....

 cooldude

Many years ago, when I would still ride like someone not scared of bouncing on the ground, maybe 2006 or so,  G-man and I went down to an Inzane and rode the snake

Before leaving home, the Carribean Queen made me promise to keep an eye on my friend

I was ahead of Gary riding the snake over the 1st mountain and at one point I realized he was not behind me.  Crap, do not want to be on the Queen's bad list so I pulled over and waited a few moments  Still no Gary
no place to turn around, but I did anyway and found his bike settin on its side stand back down the mountain a ways

I hollered into the woods and eventually I heard his voice

Someone else had run off the road and he had ran down into the woods to help.  I ran back to my bike and rode to the 1st house i found and asked the owner to call 911 and where the location was

He will probably chime in eventually but the rider was a Valk rider I believe and the bike was layin on him

G-man gave me a good scare, but he is a good man and went to help this fellow asap.

I would hope any of us would do the same.

Yes Darrell was underneath his Valkyrie on private property after a missed turn…
I expected to see him, Gary and OSS behind me at the Country Store, but I was alone, so I backtracked a bit and saw Gary and the newly improvised exit off the snake.

Must have been a Long 3 days for the dude in the linked story!

Whew!  Lesson learned. Stay away from McDonald’s. I haven’t been in 10 years. I feel safer now

I haven't been lost for three days on a breakfast run since 1973.  Grin Glad they found him alive.
