No kidding; I agree.

The NGAMC is suppose to have a ride, but it is not looking good again! Third ride in a row rained out.  Sad

So is Lake Lanier full again?  Ya'll were about to drink mud a year or so ago.  Flooded here and then froze.  I tried to get Al Gore to come and bring me some global warming.  You know, warm winters and drought.  Politicians, lots of talk and don't deliver.

I know how you feel in GA. Yes, we were nearly stopped by a drouhgt a summer or two ago (cities were turning on each other to decide who owned rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water) so in a long term look we do need the rain. However, when the roads are running beside of creeks that are coming out of their banks toward the bridges it is hard to remember the dry days.  The snow, ice, sleet, and now rain that we have had in the last few days may or may not make a dent in what we need in a five  year big picture but at the moment it does feel like enough.

Slogging around to commute, commute to ride.

Duffy -
Tell me about your group.  I'm always looking for fellow riders.  Any of y'all going to DC for Rolling Thunder over Mem Day.  I'm semi-retired so I can ride just about any time for as long as I want.  I'm planning a long (8,000 - 10,000 miles) trip in August.  Tom

I hope there's going to be a Britman's Memorial Day ride and that Duffy is going to go to that...
